The International Swimming League (ISL) has confirmed its four American franchises ahead of the inaugural season’s kick-off date: the Cali Condors, New York Breakers, Los Angeles Current and DC Trident.
It was posed in December that the ISL would be made up of 12 teams in all—six from the United States and six from Europe—but that format has since been changed to fit just eight teams, four from each. The London Roar are one of the confirmed European outfits, who will be led by British swimming sensation and Rio 2016 Olympic gold medallist Adam Peaty.
