eSIM Promo Codes: Airalo, Holafly, Saily and More, Up to 15% Off

Every eSIM promo code we could verify: 15% off Airalo and Nomad, 10% off Ubigi, 5% off Holafly and Saily, plus free trials and referral credit.

eSIM Promo Codes: Airalo, Holafly, Saily and More, Up to 15% Off

Most travel eSIM providers will knock something off your first plan, but the size of the discount, and the small print attached to it, varies more than the coupon sites let on. We checked the codes, referral schemes and free trials for the ten providers in our eSIM ranking, and worked out what each one saves on a real plan.

Prices are list prices in US dollars, the currency most providers charge in, with sterling and euro equivalents at mid-market rates (1 USD = £0.7504 = €0.8906). Your card statement may differ by a few pence.

Our Top Pick: Airalo’s 15% First-Order Code

No other code on this list takes as much off as NEWTOAIRALO15, and it works across Airalo’s entire catalogue, unlimited plans included. For a first eSIM it is the one to beat.

Airalo Promo Code: 15% Off a First eSIM, 10% After That

The offer. NEWTOAIRALO15 takes 15% off a first Airalo eSIM, capped at a saving of US$100 (£75.04 / €89.06). Customers who already have an account can use AIRALOESIM10 for 10% off any eSIM costing US$10 (£7.50 / €8.91) or more. Both codes run until 31 December 2026 and can end sooner if Airalo hits its redemption limit.

How to apply it. In the app or on airalo.com, pick your eSIM, go to checkout and tap “Use Airmoney or code”. Paste the Promo Code, check the new total and pay by card, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

The small print. One use per customer, and no combining with other promotions, the referral discount or Airmoney credit.

Worked example. Airalo’s 10GB Europe plan, valid for 30 days across 41 countries, costs US$31.00 (£23.26 / €27.61). NEWTOAIRALO15 brings it to US$26.35 (£19.77 / €23.47), a saving of US$4.65 (£3.49 / €4.14). A returning customer with AIRALOESIM10 pays US$27.90 (£20.94 / €24.85).

Saily Discount Code SAILY5 and the Student Beans Route

The offer. SAILY5 takes 5% off Saily data plans for new customers. Students have a better option: Saily’s Student Beans listing in the UK offers 15% off a first plan once your student status is verified.

How to apply it. In the Saily app or on saily.com, choose a destination and plan, create your account and enter SAILY5 in the promo code field before you pay.

The small print. New customers only. Saily’s own referral credit cannot be combined with other coupons, so it is one or the other.

Worked example. The 10GB Europe plan for 30 days costs US$35.99 (£27.01 / €32.05). SAILY5 trims it to US$34.19 (£25.66 / €30.45). A friend’s referral, worth US$5 (£3.75 / €4.45) off a first standard plan, brings it down to US$30.99 (£23.25 / €27.60), and the student rate to US$30.59 (£22.95 / €27.24). On anything under about US$100, the referral beats the code.

Ubigi Welcome Code WELCOME10, and Why the Referral Beats It

The offer. Ubigi publishes WELCOME10 in its own help centre: 10% off your first eSIM data plan, on every destination and plan except monthly subscriptions.

How to apply it. Open the Ubigi app, go to Top up, choose your plan and type the code into the coupon field before you select a payment option. Ubigi’s instructions are written for the app, so if the website refuses the code, switch to your phone.

The small print. First purchase only, monthly plans excluded, and no published end date beyond “for a limited time”. Promo codes cannot be used alongside UbiCoins, the loyalty credit.

Worked example. Ubigi’s 10GB Europe plan for 30 days, which covers 38 countries including the UK and Switzerland, costs US$15.00 (£11.26 / €13.36). WELCOME10 takes it to US$13.50 (£10.13 / €12.02). A friend’s referral code gives 20% off a first plan bought in the app instead, so the same plan costs US$12.00 (£9.00 / €10.69).

Maya Mobile Offers: The Saving Is in the Longer Plan

The offer. No Promo Code needed. Maya sells one unlimited plan at the same price in 165-plus countries, and the real saving comes from buying a longer cycle: the daily rate falls from US$3.33 on the 3-day plan to US$1.67 (£1.25 / €1.49) on the 30-day plan.

How to apply it. There is nothing to type. Choose the cycle in the Maya app or on maya.net and pay.

The small print. Plans renew automatically while Travel Mode or Auto Top-Up is on, which has caught people out. Switch it off in the app if you want a single period. We found no consumer referral scheme on maya.net, and the 10% to 20% codes circulating on coupon sites do not appear anywhere on Maya’s own pages.

Worked example. Four weeks around Europe on four 7-day plans costs US$79.96 (£60.00 / €71.21). One 30-day plan costs US$49.99 (£37.51 / €44.52), a saving of US$29.97 (£22.49 / €26.69), with two extra days thrown in.

Nomad Promo Code LOCALS: 15% Off Fixed-Data Plans

The offer. LOCALS is a reader discount shared with our sister site Locals Insider, taking 15% off an eligible Nomad eSIM.

How to apply it. On nomadesim.com or in the Nomad app, pick a plan and enter LOCALS in the “Add Promo Code” field at checkout. Once accepted it is saved to your profile under Promos, and if checkout says the code is already in your promo wallet, select it there rather than typing it again.

The small print. One use per account. The code does not work on plans under US$5, plans already on sale, add-on data, unlimited plans or the Thailand 50GB plan. Nomad will not add a forgotten code after you have paid.

Worked example. The Europe 10GB plan for 30 days, across 35 countries, costs US$23.00 (£17.26 / €20.48) and was not on sale when we checked, so LOCALS applies: you pay US$19.55 (£14.67 / €17.41). A friend’s referral code takes a flat US$5 off a first plan instead, leaving US$18.00 (£13.51 / €16.03).

Holafly Coupon LOCALS: A Modest 5% on Unlimited Data

The offer. LOCALS takes 5% off any Holafly eSIM, whatever the destination or length, single-country, regional and global alike. On the Holafly Plans monthly subscriptions it gives 10% off for the first 12 months.

How to apply it. Choose a destination and number of days, go to checkout, type LOCALS into the “Discount code” field and tap the arrow. The new total appears before you pay.

The small print. One code per order, and codes cannot be combined with HolaCoins, Holafly’s loyalty credit. New and returning customers can both use it.

Worked example. Holafly sells unlimited data only, so there is no 10GB plan to compare. A week of unlimited data on the 33-country Europe eSIM, UK included, costs US$27.50 (£20.64 / €24.49). With LOCALS you pay US$26.13 (£19.61 / €23.27). Small change, but it costs nothing to type.

Yesim First-Order Codes: YESIMSPECIAL10 and BLOG10

The offer. Yesim’s own blog lists YESIMSPECIAL10 and BLOG10, each worth 10% off a first purchase, and BLOG2 for €2 off any plan for new users.

How to apply it. Add the plan to your basket in the Yesim app or on yesim.app and enter the code in the promo field before paying. Codes can also go in under the Account tab in the app, then Apply.

The small print. First purchase only, one use per account, no published expiry. Yesim says some discounts arrive as Ycoins, its in-app credit, rather than as a lower card charge, so check your balance after checkout.

Worked example. The Europe & UK 10GB plan for 30 days, across 33 countries, costs US$19.20 (£14.41 / €17.10). With 10% off it falls to US$17.28 (£12.97 / €15.39), a saving of US$1.92 (£1.44 / €1.71). A friend’s referral link gives €5, about US$5.61 (£4.21 / €5.00), off a first purchase instead, which is the better deal on any plan under about US$56.

GigSky Visa Discount and Referral: Up to 30% Without a Code

The offer. No Promo Code needed. Add an eligible Visa card in the Offers section of the GigSky app and every plan, cruise plans included, is discounted by 20% or 30% depending on the card tier. New customers without the right card can take 25% off a first plan with a friend’s referral code.

How to apply it. The Visa discount appears automatically at checkout once the card is verified; nothing is charged when you add it. Referral codes go in under “Apply promo code/coupon”.

The small print. One discount per purchase: referral and promo codes cannot be combined with the Visa offer.

Worked example. The 10GB Europe plan for 30 days lists at US$22.99 (£17.25 / €20.47). A Signature-tier Visa card brings it to US$18.39 (£13.80 / €16.38), an Infinite-tier card to US$16.09 (£12.07 / €14.33), and a referral to US$17.24 (£12.94 / €15.35).

Lebara Travel eSIM: Extra Data Instead of a Discount

The offer. No Promo Code needed. Lebara’s 15-day and 30-day plans carry 20% extra data, built into the plan. We found no first-order code, no welcome discount and no referral scheme on Lebara’s travel site; codes circulating on coupon sites tend to be for its UK SIM-only contracts.

How to apply it. Buy a plan marked “20% Extra Data” in the Lebara: Travel eSIM app. The bonus is already included.

The small print. Only the labelled plans qualify, and top-ups add data without extending a plan’s expiry date. Plans are single-country, so there is no Europe bundle to compare.

Worked example. The 15-day UK plan costs US$20.00 (£15.01 / €17.81). Without the bonus it would include 20GB, about US$1.00 (£0.75 / €0.89) a gigabyte; with it you get 24GB, closer to US$0.83 (£0.63 / €0.74).

Flexiroam Sale Prices: 30% Off Before You Reach Checkout

The offer. No Promo Code needed. Flexiroam’s shop shows 30% off local eSIMs in the UK, USA, Japan and elsewhere, and up to 70% off selected global plans.

How to apply it. The reduced price is the one charged at checkout on the website or in the app.

The small print. Global reductions are tied to Flexiroam’s current sale and can be withdrawn at any time, and the permanent-looking “30% off” labels make the real price hard to judge. Europe regional plans last only 3 to 15 days, so there is no month-long Europe plan to compare.

Worked example. A 10GB UK plan for 30 days lists at US$21.71 (£16.29 / €19.33). With the 30% reduction you pay US$15.20 (£11.41 / €13.54), a saving of US$6.51 (£4.89 / €5.80).

Free eSIM Trials and Referral Credit: Data for Nothing, or Nearly

Genuinely free data is rare. Nomad gives new users a 1GB trial eSIM, billed as lasting three days, with no card needed, redeemed in the app in 76 eligible destinations. Install it no more than 15 days before you fly, because it switches itself on after that.

GigSky offers 100MB for seven days in 125 countries, again with no card, and its free-data page mentions allowances of up to 500MB in some destinations. Eligible Visa cardholders can get between 1GB and 5GB for 15 days, or a few days of unlimited data in selected countries.

Yesim‘s trial is not free but close: US$0.60 (£0.45 / €0.53) for up to 500MB over one day. Holafly gives every installed eSIM 1GB of “Always On” backup data a month once a plan runs out, Flexiroam hands eligible Mastercard holders a free eSIM and starter plan, and Ubigi runs occasional partner offers of 500MB. Airalo, Saily, Maya and Lebara offer no free trial.

Referral credit is more widespread, and often worth more than the codes:

  • Airalo: US$3 (£2.25 / €2.67) off a first purchase, and the same in Airmoney for the friend.
  • Saily: US$5 (£3.75 / €4.45) off a first standard plan or US$10 (£7.50 / €8.91) off a first Ultra plan, matched in credits for the referrer.
  • Nomad: US$5 off a first plan, and US$5 off the referrer’s next purchase.
  • Holafly: 10% off a first order of at least US$10 (£7.50 / €8.91), and 500 HolaCoins for the referrer.
  • Ubigi: 20% off a first plan in the app; the referrer gets a 50% off coupon.
  • Yesim: €5 for both sides.
  • GigSky: 25% off for the new customer, with the same reward for the referrer.
  • Flexiroam: promotional data for both, but the referrer must hold a Global Plan.

Maya and Lebara run no consumer referral scheme that we could find.

Stacking Codes, Credit and Cashback: What Combines and What Doesn’t

The short answer is that almost nothing stacks. Airalo, Holafly, Saily, Nomad and GigSky all allow one discount per order, so the job is picking the biggest one.

Do the sum before you pay. A flat referral credit beats a percentage code on cheaper plans: Airalo’s US$3 wins below US$20, Saily’s US$5 below about US$100, and Nomad’s US$5 below about US$33. New Holafly customers with a friend’s link get 10% rather than the 5% from LOCALS.

Mind the order on Nomad. Anyone who redeems the free trial loses access to other first-time promotions, and referral codes will not work on a purchase made after a trial. If you want a discount on your first paid plan, buy it before you claim the free gigabyte.

Loyalty credit is the other trap. Airmoney, HolaCoins and UbiCoins cannot be spent on the same order as a promo code, so a returning customer with a healthy balance may do better spending the credit. Credit also expires: Nomad Points after six months, Ubigi’s UbiCoins, Yesim’s Ycoins and Saily’s credits after a year.

Finally, be wary of coupon sites. Many of the codes promising 20% or 35% off are expired partner deals, and none of the providers above will apply a forgotten code after payment. If a code fails, close the checkout and try the provider’s own code instead. Buying on hotel or airport Wi-Fi? eSIM Discount Questions, Answered

Which eSIM has the best promo code right now?

Airalo’s NEWTOAIRALO15, at 15% off a first eSIM with a cap of US$100, is the biggest code that works across a whole catalogue. Nomad’s LOCALS matches the 15% but only on eligible fixed-data plans that are not on sale.

Is there an Airalo promo code for existing customers?

Yes. AIRALOESIM10 takes 10% off any eSIM costing US$10 or more for people who already have an Airalo account. Like NEWTOAIRALO15, it runs until 31 December 2026.

What is the Holafly discount code?

LOCALS takes 5% off any Holafly eSIM and 10% off Holafly Plans subscriptions for the first 12 months. Enter it in the “Discount code” field at checkout; it cannot be combined with HolaCoins.

Do eSIM promo codes work on unlimited plans?

It depends on the provider. Airalo’s, Holafly’s and Ubigi’s codes apply to unlimited plans, while Nomad excludes them from LOCALS, referral credit and points.

Can I use a promo code and referral credit together?

Usually not. Airalo, Saily, Nomad and GigSky all say codes and referral discounts cannot be combined, so compare the two and use whichever saves more on your plan.

Is there a free eSIM trial?

Nomad gives new users 1GB with no card, and GigSky offers 100MB for seven days in 125 countries. Yesim’s trial costs US$0.60 (£0.45 / €0.53), and the other providers in our ranking have no free trial.

Does Saily have a student discount?

Yes, through Student Beans. The UK listing offers 15% off a first plan for verified students, which beats the 5% from SAILY5.

Does Nomad’s LOCALS code work on sale plans?

No. It is not valid on plans already on sale, plans under US$5, add-on data, unlimited plans or the Thailand 50GB plan.

Why didn’t my eSIM promo code work?

The usual reasons are a code limited to new customers, a plan type that is excluded, or credit already applied to the order. Ubigi’s code also has to be entered in the app before you choose a payment method.

Do I need a promo code for Maya Mobile, GigSky, Lebara or Flexiroam?

No. Maya’s saving comes from longer plans, GigSky’s Visa discount applies automatically, Lebara builds extra data into its plans and Flexiroam’s reductions are already in the listed price.
