Cambridge are the runaway favourites to win the Boat Race in back-to-back years again this year, with less than one week remaining until they revive their age-old struggle against rivals Oxford.
The university duel will pick back up on Sunday, and Cambridge are out to win the crown in successive years for the first time in 20 years. Since then, Oxford have won 12 of the races held, while Cambridge have only triumphed in seven.
Sky Bet has Cambridge priced at a lowly 1/4 (1.25) and Oxford way behind at 3/1 (4.00). However, punters hoping to back the favourite can find better value with William Hill, who have Cambridge at the slightly more enticing 4/9 (1.44) and Oxford at competitive odds of 13/8 (2.63).
A dead heat hasn’t occurred in the Boat Race since 1877, and one can find that market between 40/1 (41.00) and 50/1 (51.00).
