The stakes are incredibly high for Carissa Moore and Lakey Peterson entering the penultimate event of the 2019 WSL Championship Tour.
They remain the only realistic title contenders with two meets left, though it would take an almighty slip-up on Moore’s part to surrender first considering she holds a lead of almost eight points.
The 4/7 (1.57) frontrunner will seal the title at this weekend’s MEO Rip Curl Pro Portugal if she can build a lead of more than 10 points over Peterson, who remains in with a shot at 7/4 (2.75), per Oddschecker.com.
Sally Fitzgibbons and Caroline Marks sit third and fourth in the Tour standings, each around the 47-point mark and about 11 from leader Moore. Fitzgibbons can still be found at 25/1 (26.00) and Marks priced at 30/1 (31.00).
