More than 50 entries have already been received to feature in the 2019 O’Leary Life Sovereign’s Cup, with a little less than four months remaining until the competition gets under way in Shoreside, Kinsale.
The biennial competition will run from Wednesday, June 26th to Saturday, June 29th and has been organised by Kinsale Yacht Club, which is set to welcome an increased fleet in 2019.
Sail-World.com reported the number of entries received is more than 10 per cent higher than it was at this point in 2017, and contingencies are being put in place to host a 100-plus boat race.
