Betfred Games is the slots arm of Betfred, the bookmaker Fred Done started from a single shop in Salford and built into the UK’s largest independent high street chain, and its Games and Vegas lobbies lean on familiar British favourites: Fishin’ Frenzy, Eye of Horus and the Jackpot King network.
We like it for two reasons. One £10 stake on slots brings 200 free spins in a single batch, with no wagering on what they win, and the free Prize Reel offers up to 50 more spins a day to new and existing players alike. Here is our Betfred Games review, starting with the welcome offer and the Promo Code.
Betfred Games Promo Code: SPINS
Welcome offer: Play with £10, Get 200 spins
New customers only. Register and enter Promo Code SPINS prior to deposit. Deposit, using a Debit Card, and stake £10+ within 14 days on Slots at Betfred Games and/or Vegas to get 200 Free Spins on selected titles. £0.10 per spin. Credited within 48 hours and valid for 7 days. Full T&Cs apply. 18+ | GambleAware.org
Betfred Games welcome offer and sign up bonus
The offer is for new customers aged 18 and over who live in the UK and are successfully verified before any spins are awarded. Previous account holders do not qualify. It runs on a strict sequence, and the sequence is the whole point: register, add the Promo Code, deposit by debit card, stake £10 on slots, then accept the spins.
A worked example: you open a Betfred account on a Saturday and enter Promo Code SPINS on the registration form. You deposit £10 using your own Visa debit card, then play 50 spins at 20p on a slot in the Games lobby, so your qualifying stake reaches £10. Within 48 hours, 200 Free Spins worth 10p each, £20 at face value, are credited. You open Eye of Horus, accept the spins and play them through. If they return £14.60, that £14.60 becomes withdrawable once all 200 spins are used, with no wagering.
The eligible slots are Betfred 777 Jackpot King, Cash Strike Hotstepper, Eye of Horus, Fishin’ Frenzy and King Kong Cash Even Bigger Bananas Jackpot King. The spins can only be used on the game where you accept them, at the stake you select, so choose before you click accept. The default is 10p a spin; you can pick a higher value, up to £2 a spin, and receive proportionally fewer spins. Sticking at 10p gives the longest session. Neither choice changes the odds; it only changes how the session feels.
What you must do, and the catches that trip people up:
- Timing: deposit at least £10 and stake £10 or more on slots at Betfred Games and/or Vegas within 14 days of registering.
- Payment: the deposit must be made by debit card registered to you. No other payment method qualifies; PayPal, other e-wallets and prepaid Visa and Mastercard cards are excluded.
- What counts: play with bonus funds or Free Spins does not count towards the £10, and stakes on anything other than Games and Vegas slots do not qualify.
- Expiry: spins must be accepted and used within seven days of crediting, and expired spins are not replaced.
- Validation: SMS or email validation may be requested, and bonuses may be delayed until it is complete.
- iOS app: eligible games may not always be available on the Betfred iOS app; they can be reached through betfred.com in a mobile browser.
- One welcome offer: Betfred also runs a separate Betfred Casino welcome offer with different rules, and only one is allowed per person, so decide before you deposit.
No cap on Free Spin winnings is stated in the terms. When DailyStoke compared it with other UK spin offers, the appeal was the size of the batch for the stake: 200 spins from a single £10, rather than spins drip-fed over days.
Betfred Games promo code
You need the Promo Code SPINS for this offer, and it must be on the account before your first deposit. Enter it on the registration form, or add it afterwards as long as you have not yet deposited. If you deposit first and forget the code, the offer is no longer available to you.
Codes for Betfred on other sites may belong to the Betfred Casino offer, the sportsbook or older promotions, and none of them unlocks these 200 spins. If your spins have not arrived within 48 hours, check that SPINS was added before your deposit and that you used a debit card, then contact support.

Our verdict
Few UK sign-up deals are easier to understand. You stake £10 of your own money on slots, you get 200 spins worth £20 at face value, and any winnings become withdrawable once the spins are used. The fine print is all about procedure: the Promo Code must be on the account before you deposit, only a debit card counts, and the spins last a week. Get those right and this is one of the stronger wager-free offers available, backed by a long-established British bookmaker with a responsive Trustpilot team.
Pros
- 200 Free Spins in one batch for a single £10 stake
- No wagering on Free Spin winnings
- A choice of five slots, including Fishin’ Frenzy, Eye of Horus and two Jackpot King titles
- Free daily Prize Reel worth 3 to 50 spins, with no wagering, for new and existing customers
- Betfred replies to 98% of negative Trustpilot reviews, usually within a week
- 4.6 rating from 69k ratings for the Betfred app on the UK App Store
Cons
- Missing the Promo Code before your first deposit loses the offer
- Debit card only; PayPal, other e-wallets and prepaid cards do not qualify
- Spins expire seven days after crediting
- Up to 48 hours’ wait for the spins to land
- Recurring Trustpilot complaints about bonuses, slot results and site errors
Betfred Games and Vegas: slots, jackpots and live casino
Betfred splits its gaming into several lobbies under one account: Games, Vegas, Casino, Live Casino and Bingo. The Games and Vegas sections, which count for the welcome offer, are slot-led.
Slots and Megaways. The lobby leans on UK favourites including Fishin’ Frenzy, Eye of Horus and Playtech’s Age of the Gods series.
Jackpots. Jackpot King titles feature heavily, and Playtech’s Age of the Gods network adds linked progressive prizes. For the welcome spins, the two Jackpot King titles add a chance at a progressive on top of base-game play.
Live casino and tables. Roulette, blackjack and game shows run in the Live Casino section, with RNG table games and scratchcards elsewhere. Remember that stakes on these do not count towards the welcome offer.
Betfred promotions for existing players
Betfred’s free-to-play Prize Reel lets new and existing verified online customers pick a reel once a day for a chance at 3, 5, 10, 20 or 50 Free Spins worth 10p each, with no wagering on the winnings. Prizes must be accepted and used by 23:59 UK time on the day they are won.
Betfred also runs a comp points scheme on casino play, with points redeemable for free spins or Golden Chips. Rotating offers appear in the promotions area of your account, so check there after signing in.
Betfred payment methods and withdrawal times
| Method | Counts for welcome offer | Typical withdrawal time |
|---|---|---|
| Visa / Mastercard debit | Yes | Up to 3 days |
| PayPal | No | Varies |
| Skrill / Neteller | No | Varies |
| paysafecard | No | Not published |
| Instant bank payment | No | Varies |
Betfred quotes withdrawals of between about 4 hours and 3 days depending on method. Withdrawals generally return to the method you deposited with. The cashier shows the minimum withdrawal before you confirm.
Betfred app and customer service

Betfred reviews: what UK players say
The App Store rating is high, but the written reviews there are mixed. “The app is useless. It crashes so much that I have to delete it then download it again,” wrote meffs69 in April 2021.
Trustpilot gives Betfred 3.1 out of 5 from 14,870 reviews, with opinion split almost down the middle: 37% five-star and 39% one-star. The happy reviewers mention ease of use and service. “The online app is very easy to use,” wrote Martin in October 2026, and Anthony B., the same month, headed his review “Excellent customer service”. The unhappy ones focus on slots and bonuses: “Just another site tat withholds bonus and extra play,” wrote Fay R. in October 2026.
The recurring praise covers ease of use, football odds and welcome offers; the recurring complaints are free spins not arriving after qualifying, slot results, site errors and slow handling of account issues. Betfred replies to 98% of negative reviews, usually within a week, which is unusual among big UK operators. Trustpilot does not verify individual claims.
