The Vic is the online home of the Grosvenor Victoria Casino on Edgware Road, a London card room with a long history, and the club itself is still very much part of the pitch. The website carries a “Tour the Vic” section and a link to book The Dining Room, and the venue also has a Poker Room and The Loft, an alfresco gaming area. It is run by the Rank Group, which also owns Grosvenor and Mecca.
We like it for Live Victoria Roulette, streamed from that casino floor, and for an Evolution live lobby where XXXTreme Lightning Roulette runs from 10p to £10,000 a spin. Here is our The Vic review, starting with the welcome offer and the Promo Code.
The Vic Promo Code: None needed
Welcome offer: Play with £40, Deposit £20
New players only. Min Deposit £20, excl. PayPal & Paysafe. £20 bonus (x10 wager) on selected games. Max win £2K. T&Cs apply. 18+ | GambleAware.org
The Vic welcome offer and sign up bonus
The welcome bonus is a straightforward £20 match on a £20 first deposit. It is open to new players aged 18 and over who can see the promotion in the Promos section of their account. You select the welcome offer in the cashier and make a first deposit of at least £20, and The Vic adds a £20 bonus to your bonus balance, giving you £40 to play with on selected games. Accounts opened with a first deposit by PayPal or Paysafe are not eligible, and claiming the offer rules you out of any other welcome offer on the site.
A worked example. You deposit £20 by debit card and receive a £20 bonus. Your total wagering target is the deposit plus the bonus, £40, multiplied by 10: £400. Your cash is used first, so your £20 deposit is staked before the bonus balance is touched. Game contributions decide how quickly you get there:
- Slots: 100%
- Jackpot and progressive games: 50%
- All live casino games, including game shows: 10%
If you play only slots, you need £400 of slot stakes, for example 800 spins at 50p. Switch to live roulette and each £10 staked counts as only £1, so you would need £4,000 of live play to clear it. Once the target is met inside 30 days of the bonus being credited, up to £2,000 can be converted from the bonus balance to cash.
The catches. The bonus can only be used on the allowed game list, so check it before you play. Minimal-risk betting, such as covering red and black on roulette, does not count and can lead to the bonus and winnings being forfeited. You can withdraw your cash balance at any time, but doing so before meeting the wagering forfeits the remaining bonus. Live casino is the main draw here yet counts only 10%, so stick to slots while wagering and save the Victoria roulette for afterwards. If you mostly plan to play live tables, playing with cash only and skipping the offer may suit you better. And £400 of slot stakes in 30 days is a lot of spins for a casual player, so choose a stake you can sustain. The promoter is Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited and the terms are governed by English law.
New players only. Min Deposit £20, excl. PayPal & Paysafe. £20 bonus (x10 wager) on selected games. Max win £2K. T&Cs apply. 18+ | GambleAware.org
The Vic promo code
There is no The Vic Promo Code for this offer. The bonus is chosen in the cashier as you make your first deposit, so there is nothing to type at registration. Leave the offer unselected, or pay by PayPal or Paysafe, and the account will not qualify; no code can put that right afterwards.
Older pages have quoted codes for The Vic. They are out of date, and codes found on other sites may belong to different offers entirely.

Our verdict on The Vic
The Vic is worth a look for one reason above all: live tables streamed from a real London casino, backed by Rank, a London-listed group with a long history in UK gaming. The welcome bonus is modest and the wagering is calculated on deposit plus bonus, which makes it heavier than the headline 10x suggests. The slot lobby is solid rather than huge, and there is no iPhone app. If you want a tidy, well-run site with authentic live roulette, it fits. If you want the most bonus value, look elsewhere.
Pros
- Live Victoria Roulette streamed from the Grosvenor Victoria Casino floor in London
- Wide live stake range, from 10p to £10,000 on XXXTreme Lightning Roulette
- £2,000 maximum conversion on a £20 bonus
- Fast withdrawals to PayPal, Apple Pay and Visa Fast Funds accounts
- Daily free spins (five spins for a £10 slots stake) and a free daily Pick Your Vault game
- Opt-in slot tournament with a £5 million prize pool, from a 10p minimum bet
Cons
- Wagering of £400 on a £20 bonus is heavy relative to the bonus size
- PayPal and Paysafe deposits do not qualify for the welcome offer
- Live casino contributes only 10% towards wagering, despite being the main draw
- No iOS app, and the Android app has just 3.0 stars from 12 reviews
- Trustpilot score of 1.6/5, with 77% one-star, though from a small number of reviews
Casino games at The Vic: live tables from London, slots and jackpots
Live casino. This is the reason to choose The Vic. More than 100 live tables come mainly from Evolution and Playtech, but the stand-out is Live Victoria Roulette, streamed directly from the Grosvenor Victoria Casino floor on Edgware Road under the site’s “Live from London” banner. Playing at a real wheel among real players gives the room an atmosphere studio tables struggle to match. Elsewhere in the lobby, XXXTreme Lightning Roulette runs from £0.10 to £10,000, Live Instant Roulette from £1 to £5,000, and Lightning Roulette and Red Door Roulette from 20p to £2,000. Game shows include Monopoly, Crazy Time, Funky Time, Lightning Storm and Crazy Pachinko.
Slots and Megaways. Around 1,300 or more slots from studios including NetEnt, Pragmatic Play, Play’n GO, Games Global, Hacksaw Gaming, Big Time Gaming, Blueprint, Push Gaming, Red Tiger, Quickspin and Nolimit City, plus Rank exclusives such as 99 Royale. Megaways titles are well represented, and a Game of the Week slot is picked out on the homepage.
Jackpots. More than 50 progressive jackpot slots, which contribute 50% to welcome wagering. The homepage features the Big Bass Jackpot Bonanza series, Eye of Horus Jackpot King and Jackpot Hour Hold and Win.
Table games and Slingo. Several dozen RNG blackjack, roulette and poker variants, a small Slingo section, and instant-win scratch and arcade games.
Existing-customer promotions and loyalty
Rank runs a steady set of everyday promotions on The Vic:
- Daily free spins: opt in and stake £10 cash on slots for five free spins on selected games, valid for 24 hours, with winnings valid for seven days, 10x wagering and a maximum win set out in the promotion’s terms.
- Pick Your Vault: a free daily game for selected customers, one play a day, with prizes valid for 24 hours.
- Tournaments: an opt-in slot tournament network with a £5 million prize pool and prize drops, from a 10p minimum bet on selected games.
- VIC Coins: loyalty coins earned on wagers that convert to bonus funds, at rates set out in the loyalty terms.
- VIP: an invitation-only programme with no published entry threshold.

The Vic app and customer service
The Vic has an Android app on Google Play, The Vic Grosvenor Casinos, published by The Rank Group and carrying Live Victoria Roulette, slots, table games and scratch cards. It has more than 1,000 downloads and a rating of 3.0 from 12 reviews. There is no app on the App Store, so iPhone users play in Safari, where the full site, cashier and live tables work, and can add a home-screen shortcut.
Live chat is open 24/7 and email support is at support@thevic.com. The help centre is at support.thevic.com. Disputes that cannot be settled with The Vic can be taken to IBAS, the independent adjudicator.
What players say about The Vic
The Vic’s Trustpilot profile is small and unclaimed: 65 reviews, only three of them in the past year, with a TrustScore of 1.6 out of 5 and 77% of ratings at one star. On Google Play the Android app scores 3.0 from 12 reviews.
Google Play reviewers mainly complain about reliability and losses. “App never loads unistalled reinstalled several times been like this for weeks very poor,” wrote a reviewer posting as Everybody Loves Raymond in March 2024. Pankaj K. was more direct in September 2025: “Okay how much money you want to take from me.”
On Trustpilot the picture is similar, with complaints about delayed or blocked withdrawals, deposits not credited, few bonuses and difficulty reaching support. A reviewer posting as Worn-Out summed up a run of bad luck in January 2026: “Deposits Withdrawals £504 £0”. The praise there focuses on fast withdrawals, the jackpots and the live tables. “The withdrawal was in my accounts 15 seconds after approval,” wrote Martin M. on Trustpilot in August 2024.
With so few recent reviews and no invitations from the operator, the profiles are a weak guide either way.

The Vic vs Grosvenor vs Hippodrome
All three have roots in London land-based casinos, which makes them natural rivals for live casino players. DailyStoke compared their welcome deals side by side.
| The Vic | Grosvenor Casino | Hippodrome Casino | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Welcome offer | Play with £40, Deposit £20 | Play with £60 plus 100 Spins, Deposit £20 | Bet £20 & Get up to £100 + 100 Free Spins |
| Wagering | 10x deposit plus bonus (£400) | 10x deposit plus bonus (£600) | 10x the bonus; free spin winnings wager-free |
| Min deposit | £20 | £20 | £20 |
| Promo Code | None needed | None needed | None needed |
Who should pick which? Grosvenor, also run by Rank, uses the same deposit-plus-bonus structure and adds 100 free spins, so it gives more play for the same £20, at the cost of a bigger wagering target. Hippodrome offers the largest match and lighter wagering calculated on the bonus alone, though it accepts debit cards only for the offer and runs for just seven days from registration. The Vic is the pick if the Victoria roulette wheel is what you are after.
