Mecca Bingo is the online home of the best-known name on the British bingo high street, run by the Rank Group, which also owns Lucky Pants, Kitty Bingo and Grosvenor. It is the one bingo site where a sign-up bonus also buys you something to spend in a real club.
We like it for that £10 club voucher, which comes with either welcome route, and for a bingo bonus with just 5x wagering from a £5 start. Here is our Mecca Bingo review, starting with the welcome offer and the Promo Code.

Mecca Bingo welcome offer and sign up bonus
New players aged 18 or over, registering for the first time, choose their welcome offer by what they play first. Spend the qualifying amount in selected bingo rooms and you get the bingo bonus; spend it on the selected King Kong Cash slots and you get the spins. You can only have one, and it only applies to your first deposit. Make a second deposit before you qualify and both offers are gone. First deposits through PayPal or Paysafe do not qualify.
The short terms on the offer say “spend £10”, but the full terms set the deposit and the qualifying spend at £5, matching the headline, and that is the figure used here.
The bingo route, worked through. You deposit £5 by debit card and spend that £5 on tickets in eligible bingo rooms within 7 days. Mecca adds a £20 bingo bonus. Before any winnings from it can be withdrawn, you must spend £100 on bingo (5 x £20) within 30 days of the bonus landing. Within 72 hours of qualifying, Mecca also emails a QR code for a £10 club voucher.
The slots route. Deposit £5, spend £5 on any of the listed King Kong Cash games within 7 days, and you receive 50 free spins at 10p each on King Kong Cash Even Bigger Bananas, plus the same £10 club voucher. Use them within 7 days. Anything the spins win is paid into your cash balance, with no wagering.
Which route? The bingo bonus gives you £20 of play but needs £100 of bingo spend to unlock. The spins give you £5 of stakes with nothing to clear. Regular bingo players will get more from the bonus; slots players who want a quick, clean result should take the spins.
The catches.
- Eligible rooms exclude Best of Odds Bingo, Deal or No Deal 75, Deal or No Deal 90 and invite-only rooms.
- The bingo bonus is used before your cash, the reverse of the usual cash-first rule, and winnings from mixed stakes are split between cash and bonus.
- Taking money from your cash balance before the wagering is done forfeits the remaining bonus.
- The club voucher is one per player, must be shown in club with your membership card, has no cash value, gives no change and cannot be combined with other offers. It can be spent on bingo, slots, food and drink, in part payment for yourself and a friend.
- Unused spins, and any bonus left after 30 days, are forfeited.

Mecca Bingo promo code
There is no Mecca Bingo Promo Code. The welcome offer is triggered by your first deposit and the game you play with it, so there is nothing to type in and nothing to lose by forgetting. What does cost you the offer is paying in by PayPal or Paysafe, or making a second deposit before you qualify. Codes advertised on other sites may belong to older Mecca deals or to the clubs, so check the promotion page on meccabingo.com before you sign up.

Our verdict
Mecca’s welcome offer is one of the cheapest ways into UK online bingo. A £5 deposit and £5 of play unlock a £20 bonus, and the 5x wagering is lower than the 6x its sister sites Lucky Pants and Kitty Bingo ask. The £10 club voucher is a genuine extra for anyone who lives near a Mecca club, and worthless to anyone who does not. The free spins route is small, but the winnings land as cash. Set against that is a poor record with players online, with long-running complaints about withdrawals and game crashes. For a £5 trial with low wagering it is hard to beat; as a long-term home, read the reviews first.
Pros
- Only £5 to deposit and play to unlock the welcome offer
- 5x wagering on the £20 bingo bonus (£100), against 6x at Lucky Pants and Kitty Bingo
- £10 club voucher for bingo, slots, food and drink in a Mecca club, usable for you and a friend
- Free spin winnings paid straight to cash
- Best Odds Bingo games capped at 25 players and 10 tickets each
- My Mecca app links your club membership card and finds your nearest club
Cons
- PayPal and Paysafe deposits do not qualify for the welcome offer
- Best of Odds Bingo and Deal or No Deal 75 and 90 are excluded from the bonus
- 50 free spins at 10p are worth just £5 in stakes
- Club voucher has no value if there is no Mecca club near you
- Trustpilot 1.4 and Google Play 2.6, with recurring complaints about withdrawals and crashes
Mecca Bingo rooms, ticket prices and side games
Mecca’s bingo lobby covers the familiar 90-ball and 75-ball formats. Penny Lane is the 1p room, Supersonic is built for fast games, and Best Odds Bingo limits each game to 25 people buying up to 10 tickets each, so your share of the prize pot is easier to judge. Best of Odds Bingo, Deal or No Deal 75 and Deal or No Deal 90 are excluded from the welcome bonus, along with invite-only rooms. Ticket prices are shown in the lobby for each room before you buy.
Away from bingo, Mecca lists more than 350 real-money slots and 80-plus jackpots, including Jackpot King, Daily Jackpots and Megajackpots, with Rainbow Riches, Cleopatra and Slingo XXXtreme among the names. The King Kong Cash series, including King Kong Cash Even Bigger Bananas and its Jackpot King and Rapid Fire Jackpots versions, features in the welcome offer.
The link with the clubs is what sets Mecca apart. The welcome voucher is redeemable on bingo, slots, food and drink in club, and the My Mecca app carries the club bingo schedule and prize information.
Existing-customer promotions and loyalty at Mecca Bingo
Mecca runs a rotating set of promotions for existing players, listed in the promotions section once you are logged in, with daily offers in the apps. Some Trustpilot reviewers mention being regularly rewarded with free spins and other bonuses. Under UK rules, any bonus from these offers cannot carry more than 10x wagering.
Mecca Bingo payment methods and withdrawal times
Mecca’s payment page shows Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Paysafecard, Apple Pay and Trustly. The welcome offer terms confirm that PayPal and Paysafe are accepted for deposits, though they do not trigger the bonus, so use a debit card for your first deposit.
| Method | Deposit | Withdrawal | Minimum | Typical withdrawal time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Visa and Mastercard debit | Yes | Not published | £5 | Varies |

| Trustly | Yes | Not published | Not published | Varies |

Slow withdrawals are a recurring complaint from players, so send your identity documents early.
Mecca Bingo app and customer service
Mecca splits its mobile offering across three apps for iPhone, iPad and Android. Mecca Bingo carries the bingo rooms and promotions, Mecca Slots and Games holds the slots, and My Mecca is the club companion, with a club finder, the bingo schedule, prize and event information and a link to your membership card. Mecca’s bingo app won Best Mobile Bingo Product at the EGR Awards. The site also plays in a mobile browser.
Customer service is reached through the help section on meccabingo.com, which carries the FAQs and contact options.
What players say about Mecca Bingo
Mecca Bingo has a TrustScore of 1.4 out of 5 from 3,329 reviews on Trustpilot, with 161 posted in the past year, and the spread is polarised: 45% of reviewers give five stars and 36% give one. The Mecca Bingo: Slots & Casino app scores 2.6 on Google Play from about 2,400 reviews.
On Google Play the complaints are mostly technical. “Getting fed up now. Constantly get ‘bad response, no games available’ on bingo and noticed it seems to happen at peak times,” wrote Chris H. in January 2026. S T, in April 2023, had trouble with the sign-up bonus: “Awful, I can’t claim my sign up bonus money…”
The praise tends to come from regular players who enjoy the rooms and the extras. “They regularly reward me with free spins and other bonuses, which I really appreciate,” wrote Mikeleo on Trustpilot in September 2026. Withdrawal speed is the other sore point: “Really would not recommend playing here withdraw takes way to long,” wrote Chris on Trustpilot in August 2026. Bingo chat gets mixed reviews; some enjoy it, others say they feel ignored.
Licence, safety and safer gambling tools at Mecca Bingo
Mecca Bingo is operated by Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited under UK Gambling Commission account 57924, which covers remote bingo, casino and betting. Meccabingo.com is listed as an active domain on the Commission’s public register.
Every online gambling site licensed in Great Britain must offer deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion, and must take part in GAMSTOP, the free scheme that blocks you from every GB-licensed gambling site at once. Mecca’s own tools include net and gross deposit limits, Take A Break, Self Exclusion and Reality Check reminders. Rank’s Keep it Fun hub links to the independent GamCare self-assessment questionnaire, and players who also visit the clubs can self-exclude from UK bingo halls through any Mecca club manager or the Bingo Association. Self-exclusion on a Rank site also extends to your other Rank Interactive accounts.
Set a deposit limit before you claim the bonus, and treat bingo as paid entertainment, not a way to make money. If it stops being fun, free confidential help is available from GambleAware.org and the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133, open 24 hours a day.
Mecca Bingo vs Lucky Pants Bingo vs Kitty Bingo
All three are Rank Group bingo sites, so they share an owner and a licence. The welcome offers are where they part company, and when DailyStoke compared the three, Mecca was the cheapest to unlock and the lightest to clear.
