Unibet Free Bet Offer: £40 in Four-Leg Free Bets for £20, Streaming 85,000 Events a Year

Unibet’s sign-up offer: bet £20 at Evens and get £40 in Bet Builder and acca free bets. No Promo Code needed. Terms, app and our verdict.

Unibet Bonus Code & Free Bet – Bet £10 Get £30 (UK)

Unibet is the European sportsbook that built its name on the continent before it became a fixture in the UK, and it now sits within the Kindred group, owned by France’s national lottery operator FDJ. That heritage shows in a book that is strongest on football, tennis and continental competitions.

We like it for a welcome deal that doubles your £20 qualifying stake into £40 in free bets, and for live streaming that Unibet puts at more than 85,000 sporting events a year. Every free bet must go on a multiple of at least four selections, though, so here is our Unibet review, starting with the welcome offer and the Promo Code.

Unibet free bet bonus code

Unibet welcome offer and sign up bonus

This is a “bet and get” offer: no bonus balance and no wagering, just a qualifying bet and a bundle of free bets. It is open to new customers aged 18 and over located in Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales), once per person, household, device, payment method and IP address.

A worked example:

  1. Register at Unibet and opt in to the welcome offer.
  2. Deposit £20 by debit card or instant bank transfer.
  3. Place a £20 single on a Premier League team at Evens (2.0). Racing does not qualify, so stick to football, tennis or another sport.
  4. Once the bet settles, Unibet credits £40 in free bets: 3 x £10 for Bet Builders and 1 x £10 for an Accumulator, each needing at least four selections.
  5. If your Evens bet wins, you get £40 back (£20 profit plus your £20 stake). If it loses, you still get the free bets.

The qualifying bet must settle within 7 days of registering. The terms refer to an “accumulative £20+ bet” without saying whether it can be split across several bets, so a single £20 bet is the safest way to qualify. Enhanced odds, profit boosts and other boosted prices, plus insurance bets, do not trigger the offer, and cashed-out or voided qualifying bets do not count.

Free bets are credited the same day if the qualifying bet is placed and settled on the day you register, or within 48 hours otherwise. If nothing has arrived 48 hours after settlement, contact customer support.

What happens to winnings. There is no wagering. Free bets are not withdrawable and the stake is not returned with winnings. The four-selection minimum is the defining feature: four legs multiply the odds quickly, and each extra leg is another way to lose, so the aim is to keep each bet sensible rather than chase a huge price.

  • Bet Builder free bets: pick a single match you know well and combine four related outcomes, such as the favourite to win, over 1.5 goals, a corner line and a player to have a shot on target. Correlated selections tend to price shorter, but that is fine: you want a bet that can land.
  • Accumulator free bet: four teams at around 1/2 each combine to roughly 4/1, which turns a £10 free bet into about £40 if all four win. Stretching to four teams at evens gives 15/1, with a much lower hit rate.
  • Spread them out: using the three Bet Builder free bets on different matches avoids one bad result wiping out all of them.
  • Check the bet slip: if the free bet option does not appear, you almost certainly have fewer than four selections or a racing market in the slip.

The catches.

  • Where you cannot use them: racing, greyhound racing, trotting and virtual sports.
  • Expiry: free bets must be used within 7 days of issue. Sign up on a Thursday and they cover one full weekend of football; sign up on a Monday and you have midweek fixtures and the weekend.
  • Payment: £20 or more by debit card or instant bank transfer only.
  • Combining offers: the welcome offer cannot be used alongside any other Unibet promotion.

When DailyStoke lined Unibet up against bet365 and Betway, it was the only one of the three that keeps both the qualifying bet and the free bets off racing altogether. The promotion is operated by Platinum Gaming Limited, registered in Gibraltar.

Unibet promo code

Unibet does not use a Promo Code for its Bet £20, Get £40 offer. What matters is the opt-in: select the welcome offer when you register, and it applies once you deposit and your qualifying bet settles. Without the opt-in there is no code to rescue the offer, so tick it before you finish signing up. Codes on other sites may belong to Unibet’s casino, poker or bingo offers, or to older sports deals, and they will not change this one.

Our verdict

Unibet’s offer pays double the qualifying stake, which is generous by UK standards, but it is a specialist deal. All £40 has to go on four-leg Bet Builders or four-fold accumulators, and none of it can be used on racing. Football fans who build multiples every weekend will get good use from it. Racing punters and single-bet players should look elsewhere for a sign-up deal, though Unibet’s live streaming, daily Uniboosts and European football depth still make it a useful second account.

Pros

  • £40 in free bets for a £20 qualifying bet, whether it wins or loses
  • Live streaming of more than 85,000 sporting events and 100,000 horse and dog races a year
  • Up to three Uniboosts a day at stakes up to £20, plus a daily Bet Builder Uniboost
  • Best Odds Guaranteed on UK and Irish racing from 8am
  • Asian handicap lines and ball-by-ball cricket markets

Cons

  • Every free bet needs at least four selections
  • Racing, greyhounds and trotting excluded from both the qualifying bet and the free bets
  • Great Britain only, so Northern Ireland residents miss out
  • Cashing out the qualifying bet forfeits the offer
  • Google Play rating of 3.9, with reviews flagging held withdrawals and frozen accounts

Unibet football, in-play and streaming markets

Unibet’s strengths are breadth and in-play depth rather than headline-grabbing racing promotions.

  • Football: deep coverage of European leagues, Asian handicap lines and Bet Builders on football, basketball and American football.
  • Live streaming: more than 85,000 live sporting events and 100,000 horse and dog races a year, according to Unibet’s app page.
  • In-play: a busy live section, including ball-by-ball cricket markets.
  • Uniboosts: daily boosted prices, with up to three Uniboosts a day at stakes up to £20, plus a daily Bet Builder Uniboost.
  • Racing: Best Odds Guaranteed on UK and Irish horse racing for bets placed from 8am on race day, plus racing streams. The Racing Post’s guide to bookmaker concessions notes that races with extra places, and events running other selected promotions, are excluded.
  • Cash out: available on many markets, though using it on the welcome qualifying bet voids the offer.

Unibet is a fixed-odds bookmaker, not an exchange, so no commission applies to winnings.

Unibet promotions for existing customers

  • Uniboosts: daily boosted prices on popular markets, up to three a day.
  • Daily odds boosts: further price boosts across football and other sports.
  • Bet Builder Uniboost: one per day on Bet Builders priced at 5.0 or bigger, using real money only.
  • Best Odds Guaranteed: on UK and Irish racing.
  • Casino, poker and bingo offers: separate promotions for Unibet’s other products.

Unibet’s sports promotions page lists the opt-ins on offer. Read each one for stake limits and minimum odds before betting.

Unibet app and customer service

The Unibet sports app is available on iOS and Android, with live streaming, in-play betting and sport-specific notifications for big matches. On the UK App Store, Unibet - Live Sports Betting holds 4.3 out of 5 from 6.7k ratings. On Google Play, Unibet - Sports Betting & Odds scores 3.9 from 14.3k reviews. Both are published by Kindred (London) Limited.

Customer support runs through the Unibet help centre:

  • Live chat: 24/7, via the help centre
  • Email and phone: both offered 24/7, with details on Unibet’s contact page

Trustpilot reviewers mention chatbot-first support and some difficulty finding a human agent, so allow time if your query is complex.

What players say about Unibet

Unibet holds a TrustScore of 3.3 out of 5 from 2,756 reviews on Trustpilot, alongside 4.3 from 6.7k ratings on the App Store and 3.9 from 14.3k reviews on Google Play. The Trustpilot split is stark: 28% five-star and 56% one-star, with little in between.

The praise centres on payouts and price boosts:

“Unibet always offer a competitive price boost,” wrote Arnold on Trustpilot in October 2026.

“Fast and efficient website and my withdrawals have been easy,” wrote Toby M. on Trustpilot in October 2026.

The Google Play reviews are harsher, and focus on held funds and promotions:

“…when I tried to withdraw money that I won Unibet put a hold on it,” wrote Dean P. on Google Play in July 2026.

“Lost £30 in free bets for a 3% boost,” wrote Richard M. on Google Play in August 2026.

The recurring complaints are accounts frozen during identity or source-of-funds checks, withdrawals that stall, doubts about slot payouts and support that leans heavily on a chatbot. Having your ID and proof of address ready before your first withdrawal avoids the most common delays.

Is Unibet safe? Licence and safer gambling tools

Unibet’s UK site is operated by Platinum Gaming Limited, part of the Kindred group, which FDJ took over after a tender offer for Kindred’s shares. The UK Gambling Commission public register lists Platinum Gaming Limited under account 45322, with www.unibet.co.uk as an active domain and remote licences for general betting, pool betting, casino and bingo. Unibet also holds Government of Gibraltar licences.

Unibet’s safer gambling tools include:

  • Deposit limits: set daily, weekly or monthly caps.
  • Player profile test: a short self-assessment of your gambling habits.
  • Product restrictions: block individual products such as casino while keeping sports open.
  • Time-outs and self-exclusion: take a break or exclude yourself from Unibet, and nationally through GAMSTOP, which covers every UK-licensed operator.

Free, confidential support is available from GambleAware.org and the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133, open 24 hours a day.

Who should pick which: Unibet suits football punters who build multiples anyway and want the biggest return on the qualifying stake. bet365 is the more flexible choice, with Bet Credits that are not tied to four-leg bets, and the Promo Code 365GMBLR can be entered at registration (it does not change the offer amount). Betway asks for half Unibet’s stake and returns the same £40, so it is the better value for anyone who prefers a smaller outlay.
