Feeld began life in 2014 as an app for people whose love lives did not fit the standard template, and it has grown into one of the more interesting corners of online dating. Singles, couples and everyone in between use it to meet people who share their outlook. The free app does a surprising amount. The question is whether Majestic, its paid membership, earns its place on your bank statement.

Our verdict
Feeld does something the big mainstream apps still fumble: it lets people describe who they are and what they are looking for in their own terms, with more than 20 gender identities and more than 20 sexualities to choose from, and a proper way for partners to link profiles. The free version is genuinely usable. Majestic is worth it mainly for privacy, chiefly Incognito mode and private photos, and for seeing who has already liked you. Monthly billing at £19.99 is steep; the annual plan is the sensible way to pay if you are committed. The weak spots are real, though: a 2024 security research disclosure, a Trustpilot page full of complaints about fake profiles and support, and smaller pools of people outside big cities.
Pros
- Free plan covers browsing, chat, photos, short videos and partner linking
- Unusually inclusive profile options for gender, sexuality and relationship style
- Strong privacy tools, including screenshot protection and optional nudity blur
- Couples and groups can link profiles through Constellations
- Annual Majestic plan brings the cost down to £8.33 a month
Cons
- Majestic costs £19.99 for a single month, more than Hinge+ on the UK App Store
- Incognito mode and private photos sit behind the paywall
- Trustpilot score of 1.3/5, with recurring complaints about fake profiles and support
- Security researchers reported serious flaws in 2024, since said to be fixed
- No promo codes, student discount or free trial of Majestic that we could find
Feeld free vs Majestic: what you get without paying
Feeld’s help centre is clear that “Feeld’s basic features are all included in the free membership”. Free members can browse and connect with other members, send chats, images and short videos to their connections, and link their profiles with their partners. Screenshot protection is switched on for everyone, Majestic or not, and the optional blur filter for explicit images works in any chat.
Majestic adds the extras. According to Feeld’s own list, members get unlimited likes, “Who likes you”, Incognito mode, Last Seen, a 7-day History of profiles you have viewed, private photos visible only to your connections, one free Ping a day (unused Pings do not roll over), filters for desires and for recently online members, and the ability to undo a dislike. Feeld lists unlimited likes as a Majestic perk but does not say how many free members get.
In practice, the free app is enough to see whether Feeld suits you. Picture someone newly arrived in London who wants to meet open-minded people for friendship first: a week on the free plan will show whether there is a community nearby. Majestic starts to matter when discretion does. Incognito keeps you hidden from everyone except people you have liked or Pinged, which many members value for professional or family reasons.
Feeld Majestic prices and plans in the UK, and the cheapest way to pay
Feeld does not list prices on its website; you see them on the upgrade screen in the app. These are the UK App Store in-app purchase prices we found. As with most dating apps, prices can differ between iPhone and Android and may vary by account.
| Plan or add-on | UK price | US$ equivalent | € equivalent | Cost per month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Majestic, 30 days | £19.99 | $26.64 | €23.72 | £19.99 |
| Majestic, 90 days | £32.99 | $43.96 | €39.15 | about £11.00 |
| Majestic, 1 year | £99.99 | $133.25 | €118.66 | £8.33 |
| Single Ping | £1.99 | $2.65 | €2.36 | n/a |
| Pack of 5 Pings | £7.99 | $10.65 | €9.48 | n/a |
| Pack of 10 Pings | £13.99 | $18.64 | €16.60 | n/a |
| Pack of 20 Pings | £19.99 | $26.64 | €23.72 | n/a |
| Uplift (24 hours) | £8.99 | $11.98 | €10.67 | n/a |
Conversions use 1 GBP = 1.3326 USD = 1.1867 EUR. Feeld does not offer a 1-week or 6-month Majestic plan in the UK listing.
The App Store also lists a separate “Feeld Subscription” at £17.99 for 30 days and £30.99 for 90 days. Feeld’s help centre does not explain how it differs from Majestic, so check what the upgrade screen includes before you pay.
Pings are a way of telling someone you are interested straight away; they are notified immediately and, if they accept, you can chat at once. Uplift moves your profile further up the Discover feed for 24 hours, shown to people within 10 miles who match your search and have not seen you yet. It is not included in any membership, and Feeld says Uplifted members can expect around seven times more likes in busy areas, though it guarantees nothing.
The cheapest way to pay is the 1-year plan, which costs about the same as five monthly payments. The 90-day plan is a fair middle ground at roughly £11 a month. Buying Pings in packs of 20 brings each one down to about £1.
Feeld promo codes, discounts and student deals: what exists and what doesn’t
Search for a Feeld promo code and you will find coupon pages, but no working code from Feeld itself. Feeld does not publish promo codes, and purchases go through Apple or Google, which leaves no box to type one into. We found no student discount: Student Beans has a Feeld page, but it showed no live offer when we checked. Nor did we find a free trial of Majestic in Feeld’s help centre.
The only reliable saving is to choose a longer plan. If you are paying monthly and expect to stay for more than five months, switching to the annual plan saves money.
Who owns Feeld and who uses it
Feeld launched worldwide in July 2014 under the name 3nder. Match Group, which owns Tinder, sued over the name in 2016, and the app became Feeld that August. It was founded by Dimo Trifonov and Ana Kirova; Kirova became chief executive in March 2021. The company, Feeld Ltd, remains privately held. Forbes reported in October 2026 that the co-founders hold 28% and 25%, with about 42% held by a Panama-based company, Multiple Personality Corp, and that Feeld has raised less than $500,000 in outside investment.
According to the same Forbes report, as summarised by Global Dating Insights, Feeld’s 2025 revenue reached $85m (£64.4m), up 31%, with profit after tax of £8.9m. Around 87% of revenue now comes from outside the UK. The report put the user base at 14 million, with Gen Z users up 65% in a year, the fastest-growing group.
The audience is broad: people exploring ethical non-monogamy and polyamory, couples looking for a third person or new friends, queer and questioning people, and a growing number of curious newcomers. A 2019 New York Times report found that 45% of users identified as something other than heterosexual and more than a third used the app with a partner. You must be 18 or over.
Feeld features that matter
Profiles and Desires. Members choose from more than 20 gender identities and more than 20 sexualities, then add Desires, tags that set out what you are open to. It is a simple idea that saves a lot of awkward small talk.
Constellations. Partners can link their profiles into a Constellation, so others can see they are connected. Feeld says linking also hides your partners’ profiles from the same people who can see yours.
Discover and cities. Discover is the main feed. The App Store description says you can browse people nearby or in 20+ popular cities, handy before a trip.
Filters. Filtering by Desires and by recently online members is a Majestic feature, and it is the one that makes the biggest practical difference in busy cities.
Messaging. Chats support photos and short videos. You can set timers on photos and send videos that can be viewed only once.
Incognito. Feeld’s main privacy mode, and a Majestic feature. You appear only to people you have liked or Pinged first, which suits anyone who would rather not be spotted by a colleague. Video calling is not something Feeld lists among its features, though chats do support recorded videos.
Is Feeld safe? Verification, safety and privacy
Feeld offers optional verification, either a quick live selfie check or mobile phone confirmation; the photo check uses facial recognition to confirm a member’s photos are their own. Faceless profiles are allowed, but using someone else’s photos is not. Image nudity blur hides unsolicited explicit images until you choose to view them. Screenshot prevention blocks screenshots of chat photos on Android, though Feeld says it is not yet fully supported on iOS, and members are not told if someone takes one. Reports go to what Feeld calls a 24/7 global safety team, backed by automated systems and human review.
The privacy record has blemishes, which we set out neutrally. In 2023 a feature that displayed members’ real-time location names drew criticism, and Feeld switched location sharing off. In March 2024, Bogdan Tiron of the UK security firm Fortbridge reported flaws that, in proof-of-concept tests, could expose private messages, photos and videos and allow profile edits. The Register reported in September 2024 that Feeld told the researchers on 16 August 2024 it had “implemented the required changes to mitigate the remaining findings”. No real-world exploitation was reported. We found no record of a regulator fine against Feeld.
On the data side, Feeld’s App Store privacy labels list purchases, identifiers, usage data and diagnostics as data used to track you, and location, contact info, contacts, user content and sensitive info among data linked to you. Treat it as you would any dating app: meet in public first, tell a friend where you are going, and keep conversations in the app until you trust someone.
What Feeld users say
Ratings depend heavily on where you look. On the UK App Store, Feeld scores 4.0 out of 5 from about 22,000 ratings. On Trustpilot, its score is 1.3 out of 5 from 192 reviews, 92% of them one star. That split is common for dating apps, since unhappy users are more likely to seek out review sites.
Recent UK Trustpilot reviews centre on fake profiles and moderation. Glenn T. (GB) wrote in September 2026: “Responses are very scarce and they definitely come from scammers or just some really dodgy users.” Deborah W. (GB), giving two stars in August 2026, said the app was “Not great on blocking reported dodgy profiles”.
How to sign up, set up a good Feeld profile and cancel Majestic
- Download Feeld from the App Store or Google Play and create an account. You must be 18 or over.
- Choose your gender identity, sexuality and Desires honestly. Specific profiles get better conversations than vague ones.
- Add recent photos and complete photo verification, which helps others trust that you are who you say.
- Write a short, friendly bio that says what you are hoping for. A couple in Manchester looking for new friends to go to gigs with will do better saying exactly that.
- If you are in a relationship, link your partner’s profile through a Constellation.
- To upgrade, tap the Majestic option in the app, choose a plan term and follow your device’s prompts.
- To cancel, go through your App Store or Google Play subscriptions; Feeld cannot cancel it for you. On an iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Feeld and tap Cancel Subscription. On Android, open Google Play, tap your profile icon, then Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions, Feeld, Cancel.
- Deleting your Feeld account does not cancel Majestic, so cancel first. Refunds are handled only by Apple or Google; Feeld’s help centre says it does not offer refunds for partially used, unused or accidental purchases, or because you dislike the service.
