One month remains until the 18th edition of the 2019 FINA World Aquatics Championships gets under way in Gwangju, South Korea, with the odds in a state of flux.
The world tournament begins on July 12, and Bwin already have odds on a host of top races featuring some of the elite names in swimming.
Katie Ledecky is a 3/100 (1.03) shoo-in to finish above Ariarne Titmus in the women’s 800-metre freestyle, with the Australian a big underdog to top the Canadian favourite at 8/1 (9.00).
Elsewhere, Lithuania’s Danas Rapsys is at low odds of 3/20 (1.15) to beat 15/4 (4.75) British hopeful James Guy in the men’s 200-metre freestyle. Rapsys took silver in this event last year and is hoping to clinch his second world gold after winning the 400-metre freestyle.
