Stephanie Gilmore will be one of the elder stateswomen on the 2019 World Surf League (WSL) Women’s Championship at 31 years old but returns with hopes of retaining her crown come December. Here is what British bookmakers think (according to their predictions and latest odds) about this amazing surfing competition.
WSL Women’s Championship Tour 2022 Betting Odds and Favourites
The New South Wales native won three of the 11 events on the 2018 tour to finish first and win after three years without a championship. She’ll become the most decorated athlete in WSL Women’s Championship history if she collects an eighth title in 2019, eclipsing Hawaiian Carissa Moore, with whom she currently shares the lead with seven apiece.
Gilmore is a 13/4 (4.25) favourite to keep her crown this year, but Moore is snapping at her heels and comes priced at 9/2 (5.50) with Unibet.
