Online gaming means you can do all of that from the comfort of your own home, all while sitting on the couch comfortably with your feet up. According to a new report from StudyFinds.com, 40% of gamblers have never set foot in an actual casino!
“Habits are changing all the time. Online gaming sites are becoming more and more popular, and in-person equivalents are evolving to meet the new needs,” says a spokesperson for Online Betting Guide, which commissioned the research of 1,000 adults as part of its gambling report. “If they don’t, they run the risk of being left behind as ever more of the world moves to an online-first experience.”
So what this means is more and more people are betting games from their phones using mobile apps.
We took at look at five different sports betting apps that are popular in NJ (BetMGM, FanDuel, Draft Kings, Bet 365, and Bet Rivers), to gauge their user experience.

So with the football season here, which NJ sports betting apps are the best to use for the 2023 season?
1. DraftKings Sportsbook
DraftKings app is very easy to navigate. They offer 19 different sports, so there are plenty of options and action. It was a very user-friendly experience and their interface and overall navigation if the cleanliest of all the sites. Draft Kings has a ton of useful features, like Same-Game Parlay, Live betting, and Profit Boosts on Multiple Sports, They always seem to offer daily boosts and offer boosts on the biggest games of the day.

2. FanDuel Sportsbook
FanDuel has actually been around a bit longer than Draft Kings and is right up there as the best in the business. The one thing we find that is lacks promotions for sports bettors, but overall it’s a solid betting experience.
4. Bet365
Like many of the current popular Sportsbooks, Bet365 NJ app offers a ton of things, but one of the things it does best is if you like in-play betting options, they offer a ton, and have plenty of cash-out options. This is a great app if you are betting on live events like any of the big tennis tournaments, top soccer leagues, and all UK and Irish horse races.

5. BetRivers
BetRivers plenty of the things that all of the above mobile sportsbook apps feature, with loads of odds, boosts, a $10 minimum deposit, quick payouts, and their $ 500-second chance bet is a nice feature they offer.
One negative is, that you need a different BetRivers New Jersey app depending on what state you are trying to bet in and we thought the interface was a nit confusing, but not a deal breaker.
Overall, we don’t think you can go wrong with any of these five. Everyone likes different things, we like the interface and clean look of DraftKings. The FanDuel is also very clean and is easy to navigate. BetMGM has some good offers, but we don’t like the interface as much as the other ones, but might have the best offers. Bet365 is pretty clean and basic looking, which makes for a good experience. And finally, BetRivers has a clean look and solid offers.

If you asked us which one we like the best? Right now, we tend to go with DraftKings, we think they are offering good game day odds boots and promotions for many of the biggest games.
